Maureen Murdock is a licensed family therapist in private practice in Venice, California, who also teaches in the UCLA Extension Writer's Program. She is the internationally published author of The Heroine's Journey, Spinning Inward, and Fathers' Daughters. The Heroine's Journey Workbook grew out of her work with women in therapy and workshops conducted throughout North America over the past twenty years.

About the Author
Maureen Murdock, PhD, is a Jungian-oriented psychotherapist in private practice in Santa Barbara, California. She teaches memoir classes and workshops internationally and is also an adjunct professor at Antioch University, Santa Barbara, teaching a new specialization in successful aging for counseling students. She was the chair and a core faculty member of the master’s program in counseling psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute.
