She teaches memoir classes and workshops internationally and is also an adjunct professor at Antioch University, Santa Barbara, teaching a new specialization in successful aging for counseling students. She was the chair and a core faculty member of the master’s program in counseling psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute.
