Kyabje Thinley Norbu Rinpoche (1931–2011), the elder son of Kyabje Dudjom Rinpoche, was a celebrated scholar and an eminent adept of the Nyingma tradition of Tibetan Buddhism, with many devoted students in the West as well as Asia. He was revered as an emanation of Longchenpa, a great scholar and siddha of the fourteenth century. Rinpoche’s books include Gypsy Gossip, A Breif Fantasy History of a Himalayan, The Sole Panacea, A Cascading Waterfall of Nectar, White Sail, Magic Dance, and The Small Golden Key.

Thinley Norbu Rinpoche (1931–2011) was a preeminent teacher in the Nyingma school of Tibetan Buddhism. The eldest son of His Holiness Düdjom Rinpoche, he was a primary holder of the Düdjom Tersar lineage and considered to be an emanation of Longchenpa, the great fourteenth-century Nyingma master.
