
Betty Reynolds
Betty Reynolds spent years as an art director and creative consultant for ad agencies in the Philadelphia area. In the early ’90s, she and her husband moved to Singapore, and then to Tokyo, where they lived for seven years. Here Reynolds began sketching her surroundings; these drawings became the inspiration for her five books on Japanese culture.
She now divides her time between Philadelphia and a small island off the Washington coast. She returns to Asia every year.
