Dodrupchen Jigme Tenpa'i Nyima
The Third Dodrupchen, Jigme Tenpa'i Nyima (1865–1926) was born as the son of the great emanation terton Traktung Dudjom Lingpa. In the land of Golog, Tibet, he ascended to become one of the precious ornaments among the greatest scholars and practitioners of his day. Not only has his legacy of scholarship and accomplishment become extremely well known and cherished throughout Tibet and foreign lands, his writings have become a life force of the Buddhist doctrine. In order to benefit both the doctrine and all living beings, Dodrup Tenpa'i Nyima left behind a treasure trove of collected writings and a lineage of qualified disciples who resemble a range of golden mountains. He was one of the great bodhisattvas of recent times.
