Jason Siff is the head teacher and director of the Skillful Meditation Project, which he founded in 1995. His approach to meditation, called “Recollective Awareness Meditation,” involves allowing one’s meditative experience to unfold naturally, rather than following a strict set of instructions, and then recollecting what happened in the sitting afterward.
Siff leads meditation retreats at various centers in the United States, Canada, and Australia. He has also taught at Esalen Institute and the Barre Center for Buddhist Studies.
