Joe Perez is the director of communications and scholar-in-residence at the Center for World Spirituality, as well as the executive editor of its blog, Spirit’s Next Move. He is also an independent blogger and Facebook Page curator exploring and advocating emerging ways of being an awakened human being by consciously evolving a better world and brighter future for all sentient beings. He is an honors graduate of Harvard University, and he studied religion and the human sciences at the University of Chicago’s Divinity School. He also completed a program in Integral Leadership from Pacific Integral.
Joe Perez is a Seattle-based writer, the author of Rising Up: Reflections on Gay Culture, Politics, and Spirit, and the founder of the Gay Spirituality and Culture weblog. His columns and articles on spirituality have appeared in numerous gay newspapers nationwide.
