Haiku of the Week

August 1, 2012

Haiku Mind
The husk of my body
counts for nothing
I just view the brightness
of mountains and rivers
as I search for the Way

Utsusemi wa
kazu naki mi nari
yama kawa no
sayakeki mitsutsu
michi wo tazunena

Ōtomo no Yakamochi (c. 718–85)
