PRINCIPLES OF FENG-SHUI, Landform Classification - Page 8

Urban Structures as Landforms

U
nlike some landforms, human-made structures in general carry no primordial energy, but like landforms, they can direct, promote, or block the flow of energy. Some examples:

  • narrow streets surrounded by skyscrapers act like narrow valleys with steep, sloping walls
  • buildings with knifelike edges act like jagged peaks
  • pointed objects like TV antennas and certain kinds of sculpture act like pointed rocks
  • streets with fast-flowing traffic act like swift-flowing rivers
  • roads shaped like dragons act like water dragons

You can read more about Landform Classification in my book Feng-shui: The Ancient Wisdom of Harmonious Living for Modern Times.
