If you are interested in submitting a book query, proposal, or manuscript to Shambhala for consideration, please read the following guidelines:

We suggest that you send a book proposal including a synopsis of the book, a table of contents or outline, a copy of the author's résumé or some other description of him or her, and two or three sample chapters (they do not need to be in consecutive order). The chapters should be double-spaced.

Be advised that we publish very few poetry books. Be sure to include a self-addressed envelope with sufficient postage (or an international postal money order) if you want your materials returned. We cannot be held responsible for lost or misplaced materials if you do not include a self-addressed, stamped envelope. The manuscript should be double-spaced, in upper and lower case letters. The review process of a manuscript can take two to four months. Please send your materials to:
