The XVII Karmapa

Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche was ordained as a monk at an early age and studied closely with two of the greatest Buddhist masters of the twentieth century: the Sixteenth Karmapa and Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche. Ponlop Rinpoche is the heart son of the Sixteenth Karmapa and a lineage holder in the Nyingma and Kagyu traditions. He has traveled and taught widely in North America, Europe, and Asia since 1990. He is a faculty member at Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado.
