The Jangchub Choeling Nunnery, established by H.H. the Dalai Lama in 1986 in Karnataka State, India, currently houses 35 young nuns, some recently arrived from Tibet. Most of the younger nuns attend regular day school and study religious subjects at night. There is no reliable source of in come with the exception of a 50-rupee monthly stipend received by 22 of the nuns. Contributions of any amount would be greatly appreciated. Please contact P.
