In the Dechen Gyalmo drupcho, Dzigar Kongtrul Rinpoche and MSB members practice the dakini sadhana from the Longchen Nyingthik tradition. The focus of these practice intensives is on accumulating 100,000 tsok offering prayers.
The merit, or positive intention and action, of the drupcho is dedicated to world peace, the longevity of masters who are teaching in the world, greater compassion towards all beings, genuine spiritual progress on the path, and harmony both within the sangha and the larger community of Buddhist practitioners, as well as throughout the world. Rinpoche has spoken of drupcho practice as a “wish-fulfilling jewel” for bringing about accomplishments on the path, and a true labor of love.
The intimate environment of a drupcho is a precious opportunity to be in the presence of the teacher's bodhicitta. To make prayers and aspirations alongside his, in the spirit of compassion and wisdom that he embodies, is a profound and often life-changing experience.
This program is open to everyone who has gone through the MSB Lineage Ceremony. If you can't make it to the program, you can still share the merit of these feast practices by making an offering.
