Healing, Communication and Social Change Conversation with Oren Jay Sofer

December 12, 2018 | 5:00 p.m. — 6:00 p.m.  |  Online Event

What is the relationship between inner transformation, communication and interpersonal relationships? Can inner healing and communication practice support each other, and how do these translate into effective action in the world? Can real personal healing be complete without systemic social change, and can social change be sustainable without personal healing?

Join Nonviolent Communication trainers Roxy Manning and Oren Jay Sofer for this unique conversation about the different applications of Nonviolent Communication, hosted by the Nonviolent Communication Academy.

On this one-hour call, you’ll learn:

  • Methods for contemplative inquiry

  • Key tools to deepen your communication practice
  • Practices to enhance resilience
  • Ways to transform anxiety into action

Roxy and Oren will offer reflections on the intersection of personal, relational, and social transformation, and on the power of Nonviolent Communication when applied to different levels of our experience. The session will include time for live Q&A with participants, as well as a free gift for those interested in Oren’s new book, Say What You Mean: A Mindful Approach to Nonviolent Communication.

Oren Jay Sofer, a CNVC Certified Nonviolent Communication Trainer, teaches workshops and retreats on meditation and communication nationally.
