Her Eminence Mindrolling Jetsün Khandro Rinpoché is the eldest daughter of Kyabje Mindrolling Trichen Gyurme Künzang Wangyal, the eleventh holder of the Mindrolling lineage, one of the six main Nyingma lineages of Tibetan Buddhism.

Mindrolling Jetsün Khandro Rinpoche was recognized by His Holiness the sixteenth Gyalwang Karmapa as the reincarnation of the great Dakini of Tshurphu, Khandro Orgyen Tsomo, the consort of the fifteenth Karmapa, and a respected and revered teacher who devoted most of his life to being in retirement .

In this way, Jetsün Khandro Rinpoché, as a Jetsünma in the Mindrolling lineage and as a tulku in the Kagyu lineage holds both lineages, Nyingma and Kagyu.

She formed the Dharmashri Foundation together with his sister, Jetsún Dechen Paldrön, where many activities are developed around the translation, distribution and archive of the Dharma teachings. And also as president of Samten Tse Charitable Projects and Mindrolling International she leads numerous social aid projects. These organizations are the continuation of the instructions and vision of the root teacher and father of Rinpoche, Kyabje Mindrollin Trichen, who stressed, as something crucial for practitioners, to understand the immense importance of commitment to actions of merit and virtue, and not just adopt a intellectual approach to the Dharma.
