Author BioSharon Salzberg is one of America's leading spiritual teachers and authors. A practitioner of Buddhist meditation for over thirty years, she is a co-founder of the Barre Center for Buddhist Studies and the Insight Meditation Society, and she directs meditation retreats throughout the United States and abroad.
Jack Kornfield is one of the key teachers to have brought Buddhist mindfulness practice to the West. He is the cofounder of the Insight Meditation Society in Barre, Massachusetts, and Spirit Rock Meditation Center in Woodacre, California. His books include After the Ecstasy, the Laundry; The Art of Forgiveness, Lovingkindness, and Peace; Meditation for Beginners; and The Wise Heart.Joseph Goldstein has studied and practiced meditation since 1967 and is a cofounder of the Insight Meditation Society and the Barre Center for Buddhist Studies in Barre, Massachusetts. He is the author of many books, including Mindfulness: A Practical Guide to Awakening and One Dharma: The Emerging Western Buddhism, and he has coauthored books with Sharon Salzberg and Jack Kornfield.
