Book description

Join fiber artist Erika Knight as she takes you on a personal journey through the urban and natural environments that have inspired her designs. With twenty garment patterns included here, you will learn how to turn a graphic rib, an intricate lace stitch, and a traveling cable into a covetable collection of sweaters, gloves, scarves, and vests. Featuring designs inspired by the city, country, and coastal landscapes, knitters of all skill levels will strengthen and build on new techniques and stitches that suit their individual style and the materials available to them. With beautiful photographs that blend these unique landscapes and the knitted designs they inspire, Erika Knight welcomes us to slow down, honor our surroundings, and celebrate texture.
