True Transformation

Join the dynamic teacher and best-selling author Susan Piver on an exploration of the enneagram through the lens of Buddhism and compassionate living.

ABOUT THIS COURSE

Today’s personal development trends can feel more like a laundry list of to-dos than a path of transformation. But what if the goal wasn’t to become a “better” person but to uncover the unique and individual brilliance that lies at the core of your being?
For over 30 years, best-selling author and Buddhist meditation teacher Susan Piver has immersed herself in the parallel studies of Tibetan Buddhism and the enneagram. In this 4-week course, she offers her deep insight and brilliance, masterfully weaving these two wisdom schools into a path that goes beyond the treadmill of self-improvement.
While the origins of the enneagram are mysterious and much debated, it has become a wildly popular modality in self-help and psychology, serving as a blueprint for personality typing. According to Piver, however, the implication of the enneagram is far deeper and more profound. Susan’s union of the enneagram and Buddhist teachings provides a rare glimpse into the undertones of this remarkable system of thought.
With its foundation in cultivating wisdom and compassion, Buddhist thought provides the much-needed spiritual backbone to the enchanting world of the enneagram.
Likewise, the enneagram offers a well-matched roadmap for studying and understanding oneself and relating harmoniously with others.
In Buddhist terms, the enneagram is a path of skillful means—a way to understand and work with the complexity and diversity of human personalities and perspectives, while recognizing our greater universal connection and roots in love and compassion.
We welcome you to explore two remarkable spiritual paths, woven together into one transformative journey.
